*I have represented England on the AJA England Judo Squad

*I'm an avid footballer/goalkeeper

*Qualified SCUBA diver at the age of 12

Tell us 3 things you have learnt so far with Comfort

*Communication is key for a company and business to work properly

*Team work and trust work hand in hand in a business situation to get a job done quickly and efficiently 

*It takes a long time to get to Heathrow on the train and tube!

What has been the highlight of working for Comfort so far? 

Going to the O2 arena and seeing what it looks like standing next to the stage looking out to the empty seats

Why did you choose an apprenticeship with Comfort?

It is a great local company that supports the apprenticeship scheme in an area of engineering that interests me

What are your ambitions for the future? 

To become a qualified Commissioning Engineer and be able to turn up to a job, use my problem solving skills that I would have acquired over a few years of working with the company and get the job done

If you could be a superhero for the day, which one would you be and why?

Ironman because of his knowledge in technology and money to afford any gadget he wants

I thought the work would be interesting and getting to travel 

to different places

To pass my course and become a valued member of the Comfort Team

Our Project Manager Tom celebrates 10 years with Comfort!

At Comfort Services Group, we like to recognise the employees who help the company grow and gain a great reputation. 

Meet Tom Hyde, the Commissioning Project Manager, who is celebrating 10 years with Comfort this month! Tom has been supervising the growing team of commissioning engineers and managing a variety of projects ensuring that the set goals and business expectations are always met 100%. Having spent a decade within the company, Tom has become a crucial part of the team. 

Here’s what Tom thinks about his time with Comfort: 

“Looking back, I remember starting as an engineer and over the years progressing to the Project Manager role. I thoroughly enjoy managing the team, helping the young apprentices gain their experience in commissioning and working with everyone involved. I hope to see a similar bit of news in 10 years time again, I honestly believe my future is with Comfort!”

"Hi, my name is Adam and I am currently working here as a summer job. I study Applied Science, Use of Mathematics, Health and Social Care and Psychology. I'm interested in commissioning and I got a job here at Comfort Services Group to get a feel of what it's like to work in commissioning. I am loving every moment here and I couldn't of asked for better people to work with. Everyone is fun and friendly which makes me want to work here in the future."
